Anorexia Nervosa
Anorexia Nervosa is a self-imposed starvation characterized by an intense fear of becoming obese with a distorted body image and refusal to maintain a healthy body weight. In addition to a very low food intake, many exercise excessively or purge.

Binge Eating Disorder
Binge Eating Disorder is characterized by recurrent episodes of binge eating, often with weight gain. Recurrent weight fluctuations from dieting and periods of overeating are common, resulting in depressed moods and low self-esteem.

Bulimia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa is characterized by recurrent episodes of binge eating followed by purging, fasting and/or excessive exercise. Depressed moods and self-depreciating thoughts follow the eating binges with a fear of being out of control.
