Since 1988, The Center for Eating Disorders Management, Inc. has
been helping health care providers, school personnel and families
learn to recognize patients at risk of eating disorders. At our
office in Bedford, New Hampshire, we offer professional programs
for medical and mental health providers, training and educational
programs for schools and community programs for all ages.
What does a patient's treatment consist of?
Our clinical services are very comprehensive. The Center's multidisciplinary
outpatient treatment consists of a team of nurse practitioners,
psychotherapists and registered dieticians. They provide specialized
medical, psychological and nutritional assessments and treatment
using a holistic approach. Collaboration with the patient's primary-care
provider continues during treatment.
Individual case management with the entire team occurs weekly
to ensure on-going evaluation. If more intensive treatment is
required, a referral to an inpatient eating disorder unit can
be arranged.
It is our belief that the keys to success lie in early detection
and intervention. We are pleased to offer a caring, supportive
environment to clients and their families in our Bedford
location as they work towards good health.
